Sundog Huskies – Team Karlsson AB General Booking Terms

1. General

These General Booking Terms and Conditions apply between Sundog Huskies – Team Karlsson AB (hereinafter “Sundog Huskies” or “we”) and the customer (hereinafter “you”) when booking and participating in any of the services provided by Sundog Huskies. The terms and conditions are part of your agreement with Sundog Huskies. Should the customer and Sundog Huskies agree in writing on deviations from these terms and conditions, that agreement applies.

2. Booking, payment and confirmation

When booking online, the customer enters into an agreement with Sundog Huskies where these General Booking Terms and Conditions apply. The booking is confirmed by choosing a payment method: card payment or invoice.

2.1 Card payment

When paying by card, the full amount will be charged at the time of booking. This amount will be deducted from the customer's bank or credit card.

2.2 Invoice payment

Invoices are sent via email and must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date, but no later than 14 days before departure. Late payment interest of 10% will be charged after the due date.

2.3 Booking confirmation

The customer receives a booking confirmation that includes activities, services, times, prices and other agreed terms.

3. Sundog Huskies expenses for the customer during the trip

If additional costs arise during the trip, for example for agreed changes, these will be invoiced no later than 10 days after departure with a 14-day payment period. Late payment interest of 10% will be charged.

4. Cancellation

4.1 Cancellation must be made in writing.

Cancellations must be sent in writing via email to Sundog Huskies and must include the customer's contact information and booking reference.

100% of the booking amount is charged for cancellations made 28 days or less before the event.

70% of the booking amount is charged for cancellations 55 days or less before the event.

4.2 Cancellation protection

Cancellation insurance can be purchased at the time of booking and is valid in the event of cancellation due to unforeseen illness that can be proven with a medical certificate. The cost of cancellation insurance is non-refundable.

4.3 Refund in case of valid cancellation

With cancellation protection, 100% of the booking amount (excluding cancellation protection) is refunded, provided that a valid medical certificate is submitted no later than 14 days after the planned event.

4.4 Special rules regarding Covid-19

Deviations from medical certificate rules may be made in the event of cancellation due to Covid-19. The customer is requested to notify any changes as soon as possible.

4.5 No right of withdrawal

In accordance with the Act (2005:59) on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises, customers have no right of withdrawal when booking leisure activities that are carried out on a specific day or during a certain period of time.

5. Any claims for compensation

5.1 Reporting requirements

Claims should be reported immediately to the guide/instructor or to the Sundog Huskies booking via email. If the customer has not reported problems during the stay, compensation claims cannot be made afterwards.

5.2 Compensation in the event of an accident

Personal injuries are covered by the customer's own insurance. The customer is responsible for checking their insurance coverage before the trip.

5.3 The customer's liability for compensation

The customer is responsible for damage to materials, vehicles or equipment caused by negligence or the influence of alcohol.

6. Customer obligations

6.1 Checking booking confirmation

The customer is responsible for checking the booking confirmation and notifying Sundog Huskies of any inaccuracies.

6.2 Travel insurance

It is the customer's responsibility to have adequate travel insurance that covers illness, accidents and repatriation.

6.3 Passport and visa

For trips requiring a passport and visa, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure validity and possibly apply for a visa.

7. Image/photo rights

During activities, the customer may be photographed or filmed. The customer must notify in advance if this is not acceptable. Sundog Huskies reserves the right to use the material for marketing purposes.

8. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR to:

• Fulfill the agreement.

• Fulfill accounting obligations.

• Used in marketing (e.g. images and videos from activities).

9. Discharge of liability in the event of Force Majeure

Force majeure includes events such as war, natural disasters, pandemics and other unpredictable circumstances beyond Sundog Huskies' control. The customer is responsible for any additional costs that may arise.
